Buildings

In the main building in Prague’s Letná neighbourhood you will find treasures from the country’s technical and industrial history and present in 16 permanent exhibitions.

The NTM’s Branches in Plasy and Chomutov and Letná Carousel in Prague are open from April to October.

If Monday is a state holiday, the museum is open.
 

Admission

Admission to the museum can be purchased in advance through the museum’s e-shop.

You are allowed to take pictures inside the museum for free as long as they are for private purposes and taken without the use of aids.

Group visits do not need to be booked in advance.

Discounted admission is provided for school and children's interest groups.

Animals are not allowed in the museum (except for seeing eye dogs).

 

Accessibility

The barrier-free wheelchair accessible entrance to the Main Building in Prague is located at the bottom of the stairs on the right of the main entrance by using the ramp.

We are a museum accessible to all. We will be happy to answer any questions you might have.

Museum shop

In each of museum’s buildings and branches, there is a shop that has a number of the museum’s publications and souvenirs. You can also use the e-shop to buy books.
