The National Technical Museum hereby undertakes to make its website www.ntm.cz accessible in accordance with Czech Act No. 99/2019 Coll., on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications and on amendments to Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on public sector information systems, as well as the amending of certain other laws, as later amended, which implements Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the European Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector entities (OJ L 327, 2.12. 2016, p. 1).

This website is in part in accordance with Act No. 99/2019 Coll., on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications and on the amendment of Act No. 365/2000 Coll., on public sector information systems and on the amendment of certain other laws, as later amended, which implements Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the European Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector entities (OJ L 327, 2.12.2016, p. 1), as well as with EN 301 549 V2 1.2 and the WCAG 2.1 standard.

Information presented in other formats

This website also contains links to documents available in non-hypertext formats. Links to such documents are accompanied by format information in the text. These formats can be:

  • PDF - this type of file can be viewed in the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader program or with built-in browser functions
  • DOC, XLS, PPT, XLS and DOCx, PPTx, XLSx – i.e. formats used by Microsoft Office, for which a number of viewer options can be freely downloaded to see these documents
  • RTF - Rich Text Format - can be displayed by the most commonly used standard text editors
  • ZIP - some files may be compressed due to size or the need to pack multiple files at once

Accessibility of information content

The information content of the website is always the same and complete regardless of the technology used to present it. The pages have full visual and functional support in the following browsers on the PC and Android/iOS platforms:

  • FireFox, Chrome, Edge, Opera (100 and up)
  • Safari (16 and up)

In addition, full support for the website imposes the following requirements on the Internet browser:

  • processing of cascading styles
