On Thursday, March 28th, 2024, the branches of NTM - the Centre for bulding heritage NTM Plasy  and the Railway depositary NTM Chomutov - will open for visitors. They will also be open on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

At the Centre for bulding heritage NTM Plasy, visitors can expect new permanent exhibitions and a new showcase.

The exhibition "Tatra 77a – From Miracle to Wreck and Back" presents the freshly restored Tatra 77a passenger car from the collection of the National Technical Museum, as well as the development and history of Tatra 77 and 77a cars in all contexts. The exhibition features panels on the development of type 77 or 77a and aerodynamic cars in general, three-dimensional samples from the restoration process, as well as a demonstration tool in the form of two scaled-down aerodynamic tunnels with models of Tatra 77 or conventional cars from the interwar period. Multimedia presentations and activation elements are also significant additions to the exhibition. The exhibition is complemented by a guide in the TourStories application, designed for mobile phones.

The exhibition "ČZ Motorcycles with a Story" will showcase twenty motorcycles of the ČZ brand. ČZ motorcycles were produced serially for 65 years. During this time, several generations of riders passed through their saddles, thousands of employees passed through the gates of the factory in Strakonice and other branch plants. Many interesting (sometimes unfortunately very sad) human destinies and stories are associated with some of these motorcycles, and this exhibition aims to remind visitors of them.

At the Railway depositary NTM Chomutov, visitors can see restored locomotives this year – the steam locomotive 464.102 "Ušatá" from 1940, the freight steam locomotive 411.019 "Conrad Vorlauf" from 1873, and the tender steam locomotive 210.001 "Serényi" from 1905. The entire depot area is reopening for this season.
