On the occasion of the national holiday on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, admission to the National Technical Museum in Prague will be free. Admission to the branches in Plasy and Chomutov will be at a reduced price of 80 CZK, and children aged 6–15 will pay 40 CZK.
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, on the Day of the Establishment of the Independent Czechoslovak State, admission to the National Technical Museum in Prague will be free.
Free admission at the main building in Prague does not include access to the Ore and Coal Mine exhibition (a surcharge applies according to the price list).
On this day, visitors are also invited to the branches in Plasy and Chomutov, where admission to the exhibitions will be at a reduced rate. October 28, 2025, is also the last open day of the current season for these branches.
At the NTM Centre for Building Heritage in Plasy, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be an event called “Ringing Out the Visitor Season” held in the Courtyard of Building Crafts. During the day, blacksmith and other workshops will be in operation. Visitors will have a unique opportunity to watch the production of forged bells, nails, and metal casting demonstrations. The bells made during the event will also be available for purchase.
The event will also include refreshments available at Kafe Klášter, offering drinks and light snacks.
