On Friday, June 5, 2026, Karel Ksandr, Director General of the National Technical Museum, and Ms. Lee Hsiu-Feng, Director of the National Museum of Science and Technology in Taiwan, signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The signing of the memorandum opens the door to long-term cooperation in the areas of research, exhibition projects, educational activities, and the sharing of professional expertise.
The National Museum of Science and Technology was founded in 1997 as Taiwan’s first museum of applied sciences. For several decades, it has been dedicated to documenting and presenting the development of industrial technologies and industrial heritage. Its areas of expertise include the life sciences, inquiry-based education, environmental education, the technology industry, experiential programs for children, and the care of museum collections and history. Through permanent exhibitions, educational programs, interdisciplinary research, and collaboration with industrial and academic partners, it makes valuable collections and extensive scientific and educational resources accessible to the public.
