The competition of historical cars "1000 mil československých", organized by Veteran Car Club Prague in cooperation with the National Technical Museum, Design Veteran Car Club Bratislava and Autoklub ČR will finish in front of the National Technical Museum. On Saturday, August 15, 2020, between 5 pm and 7 pm, you will see the arrival of vehicles at the destination. This year, 111 crews in 5 categories will take part in the competition.

The competition renews the tradition of the "1000 mil československých" race, which was organized by the Autoclub of the Czechoslovak Republic in the 1930s. It was a high-speed race of touring cars on the route Prague - Bratislava, with the participants of the race going from Prague to Bratislava and back to Prague twice without interruption and covered almost 1,600 km. This year's competition will take place from 12 to 15 August 2020 and celebrates the 125th anniversary of the founding of Laurin & Klement - Škoda and the 110th anniversary of the opening of the first exhibitions of the National Technical Museum.
