In the Museum of Photography and Modern Image Media in Jindřichův Hradec, beginning June 24th, 2012, there is a pilot exhibit for the larger exposition "Might of the Media", titled "Photographic Portrait". The larger exposition, which is a joint project of the Museum of Photography and Modern Image Media and the National Technical Museum in Prague, will gradually present the history of photography and audiovisual media in our land, from 1839 through the present, and will highlight the growing role of photography and audiovisual media in forming modern society.

A part of the "Photographic Portrait" presents original photographic equipment, associated gear and photographs from the collections of the National Technical Museum, along with noteworthy items like photographs from the Scheufler collection, from archives and other sources. It is separated into three sections: photographic techniques, creation of portraits and the portrait in society. The authors of the "Photographic Portrait" exhibition are Petr Kliment, Tomáš Petráň, Pavel Scheufler and Tomáš Štanzel.
For the future, a wide associated program is planned, including guided tours, workshops and similar educational activity.
