The exhibition will take you through the history of interwar Czechoslovak motor sport and show its significance in the life of Czechoslovak society. A total of twenty-four cars with an interwar sports history are exhibited. The cars at the exhibition are complemented by more than seventy sports memorabilia.
Připomenuty jsou nejen tři největší legendy československého meziválečného automobilového sportu – závod do vrchu Zbraslav-Jíloviště, Velká cena na Masarykově okruhu a závod 1000 mil československých, ale i další domácí automobilové závody a také starty československých závodníků v zahraničí a dálkové automobilové expedice po cizích kontinentech. Svoji pozornost výstava věnuje i nejvýznamnějším československým automobilovým sportovcům – Elišce a Vincenci Junkovým, Jiřímu Kristianu Lobkowiczovi, Zdeňku Pohlovi, Janu Kubíčkovi, Jindřichu Knappovi a řadě dalších.
There are mentioned the three greatest legends of Czechoslovak interwar motor sport - the race to hill the Zbraslav-Jíloviště, the Grand Prix on the Masaryk Circuit and the 1000 miles of Czechoslovakia race, but also other domestic car races as well as starts of Czechoslovak riders abroad and long-distance car expeditions across foreign continents. The exhibition also pays attention to the most important Czechoslovak car racers - Eliška and Vincenc Junkov, Jiří Kristian Lobkowicz, Zdeněk Pohl, Jan Kubíček, Jindřich Knapp and many others.
