In one of the largest museum buildings in the country, visitors can explore the museum’s collections across 16 permanent exhibitions and temporary displays spread over 7 floors, showcasing a wide range of fields in technical and industrial history as well as the present. The museum building, designed by architect Milan Babuška in the 1940s, is a cultural monument.

The modern Museum of Building is located in the renovated farm complex of the historically valuable monastery in Plasy. It presents the various stages of house construction, as well as medieval construction machines, in an engaging and accessible way. Educational and scientific events are held throughout the extensive grounds.

The depository is located in a former railway depot and is opened to the public by the museum during the summer season. Inside, you will find nearly 100 rail vehicles of various types: locomotives, saloon cars, passenger and motor coaches, electric and diesel locomotives, as well as historic draisines.

The carousel has been located in Letná Park since 1894. It is one of the oldest platform carousels in Europe and is unique thanks to its horse figures, which are covered with real horsehide. The museum brought the carousel back into operation after a complete restoration in 2022.
